Interface Logger

public interface Logger

Provides logging abilities to the library. An application might implement this interface to capture the logging data, or to send it to some destination.

The library provides a default implementation which sends the output to /dev/null, i.e. does not do any logging.

Method Detail

isEnabled

boolean isEnabled(int level)

Checks if logging of some level is actually enabled. This will be called by the library before each call to log(int, java.lang.String).

Parameters:

level - one of the log level constants DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ERROR and FATAL.

log

void log(int level,
         String message)

Logs some message.

Parameters:

level - one of the log level constants DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ERROR and FATAL.

message - the message which should be logged.
